Been busy with my semester exams so it's been a while since my last post hope i'll have enought time to post regularly now
Getting in was easy as i had thought. I snooped close and got spotted they immediately took me down to their prison facility. I was impressed by their underground bunker where all prisoner probably 10 of them were tied down by ropes their hands and legs and an guard with an AK watching over them the patrol troop added me to their collection. Now came the hard part finding and gaining Anna trusts and making sure its not someone else she runs to when the chaos and mayhem descends. It was hard to see in the dim lit bunker but i spotted a figure that looked like her i got close to her at the same time avoiding to come in contact of the guard who i believe was under strict order to shoot anything that moved.
"Are you not Anna Faris?"
She looked at me and maybe weighing her options of giving away her name to a total stranger or maybe she was too weak who know what they had been feeding them.
"how do you know?" her voice was weak.
The guard got up and with the back of his rifle gave me quite a hard blow on the back of my head.
"Stop your chattering or i'll blow you're brains out"
I mad a mental note to make sure i was the one who blew out his brain. Once i had regained myself from the blow i whispered to her
"Stay with me. I'll get you out"
I couldn't see her reaction in the nearly dark room. If she tried to run when the attack would happen it would surely get her killed by a stray bullet or grenade if not those god damned land mine. i quietly and gently took out the bottle of acid from the patch of false skin on the back of my hand. The skin was goddamned hot especially if it was covered in dry mud which i used perfectly to make sure no one noticed the false skin. the god damned rope melted like butter but so did part of my hands skin no mater how well you handle it a weapon always damages both side the one who uses it and the one its used against.
The earth below was wet maybe blood i thought or who knows someones gall bladder must have given away either way the cold mud felt good against my burned hand. This place smelled like shit literally well it wasn't a ideal prison where they cared for your basic need. I was just thinking about what a week could do to you living here when th first rocket hit the camp just outside the bunker turned prison.
The guard who was just getting out fell back dead missing a few of his body parts and making an awful lot noise. I quickly moved and took out the knife from tied to his waist and slit his throat," no more pain for you" I whispered in his year before doing it. The Ak-47 had blown beyond my reach by the artillery fire. I tried to steal a look of the outside. Men were running and falling. I hid the knife under my pant it was a damned big one and sharp too and clearly restricted the free movement of my legs. I sat back waiting for someone to come inside. All others inmates as i would like to call them were making nervous noise some were shouting some praying. I was surprised to hear a few of them speaking in English. They saw me sending that man to the other side and i motioned them to keep quite, some motioned me to cut their ropes but i paid no attention to their demands as they meant nothing to me. but all this wining and praying surely made the sound of approaching danger hard to hear. Anna on the other hand was quite and didn't even seem to notice the artillery fire. The guards in their haste must have forgotten about the prisoner or they didn't care much about them when their ass was on the line of fire.
It only lasted fifteen or twenty minutes before the army was crawling all over the camp i untied Anna and took her outside she might have been resisting it but was so weak that i barely noticed. I was pulling her by her hands as soon as we reached outside of the bunker she tripped and feel down unable to see anything her eyes closed tightly shut unable to bear the evening sun and her legs that hadn't moved in a long time shaking in the light i made sure one more time she was the same thing i was supposed to deliver.
