Missionaries and peace keeping mission personal the two most fucked up people you ever want to cross path with, in my trade. They pay less and they create hell lot of trouble. Although the job involving them is relatively easy so i couldn't say no to one when the price being paid was a lot.
"You do know the rules of the trade? You're paying awfully large sum for this job and if you hide info from me you can count on this that according to the tradition of my trade not only will the deal be off but your package done away with as well"
"General Harris said you didn't care about the dotted lines"
"Hidding facts costs more yes. I don't care about what i have to smuggle out of any fortress all i care about is how many more will follow me once i am out of there."
"You don't have to worry about that. It's just an awfully rich party nothing else but they want the package delivered without any harm and the detail of her captors are there in the folder along with the outlays of probable enemy movement in the camp and estimated number of them ammunition they are carrying and major threats to our mission. "
"And as always you take 10% of the share for bringing in the customer and general Harris 20% for the enemy outlay"
"You're no novice you know how things work in our trade"
"Yeah but its my first time doing business with you and i don't want any trouble later on"
"When do you move out? I want this thing done quick before they realize they have a golden goose we need it back "
"Two days. One day to study the folder and get satellite maps and getting a clearance from different agencies and one day to get the supplies and arm up"
"Better hurry. Your 70% and my 30% of 1 million dollars rest on this missions success"
Getting in the camp would be easy all i need to do is get captured getting out tricky but most trouble sum part will be smuggling the package to safe zone. The troops belonged to a local militia outfit and the camp was a prison for unofficial prisoners, the file didn't list the name or visual id of the local contact inside the prison it just listed a code to let him know about you, meaning local contact was as good as useless. the package was one Anna Faris, member of a kidnapped or massacred humanitarian group. there were 20-30 armed men two light machine guns, probable weapons listed grenade and plastic explosives rocket and grenade launchers, The area is densely forested for over 10 mile radius and the camp area had high probability of having mine fields around it. Mines i hated them they killed more people out here then the militias.J-69 mine and AK-47 seamed to be there favored weapons. No snippers another plus point and only a single route for trope movement another plus point no aerial support however ground support might become available inclding armored or machine gun fitted vehicles. The report then listed other details along with a satellite photos of the camp.
All i needed now was a plan. The best and worst part of being a mercenary is you don't have to rely on others but i'll still need some help to create a big enough diversion. time to call in some old favors. The only thing baffling me was why would anyone pay so much for a peace mission memeber something was fishy here eitherway i'll find out soon enough.
